Q Works is a collection of personal projects, experiments, ideas, and small things I've built over the years.
Not everything I work on needs to become a business. Some projects start because I want to learn something, try an idea, make something useful, or simply see where it goes. Q Works gives those projects a place to exist without having to fit into a larger business or venture.
It brings together work that is often too small, too experimental, or simply too personal to belong elsewhere.
Different projects, same spirit
The projects under Q Works can be quite different from one another.
Some are creative experiments. Others are small digital tools, community initiatives, design work, prototypes, ideas, or things that were simply worth trying at the time.
What connects them is that they started with the same basic approach: have an idea, make something out of it, and learn from the process.
Q Works also gives me a way to keep useful things around instead of letting smaller projects disappear once I'm finished with them.
I've been making personal projects since long before I had a clear idea of what I wanted them to become.
Some of those projects grew into something more serious. Others ended after a few weeks. A few stayed around for years. Even the unfinished ones usually taught me something useful.
Q Works is a way of keeping that history together.
It gives smaller projects the same basic care and structure as larger ones, while still allowing them to remain experimental. There is no expectation that everything here needs to become profitable, grow into a company, or even have a long-term plan.
Sometimes, making something is reason enough.
